Activity Instructors: AVC

The Arethusa Venture Centre currently has vacancies for Activity Instructors.

If you are interested in working as part of an enthusiastic, versatile, dynamic and dedicated team then we may have the job for you.

The Arethusa Venture Centre, based on the banks of the River Medway, provides adventurous experiences for young people in Kent and London areas, including schools, youth groups and young people from vulnerable/challenging backgrounds as well as those with disabilities.

We will pay up to £10.00 an hour for part time staff dependent on qualifications and experience. Food, accommodation and uniform can be provided.

Required qualifications:
  • BC Level 1
  • Experience working with children and young people
Desirable qualifications:
  • BC level 2
  • N.P.L.Q (pool life guard)
  • Archery G.B instructor or higher
  • First aid certificate
    Alternatively, if you have a keen knowledge and understanding of working in the outdoors and working with young people, please send in your C.V.
